Ring Part 2

On Friday night, Gerrie wanted to meet me at Vivo City. We happened to pass by S00 Kee and went to chat with Adrian, who had been a really good salesperson when I had purchase the Brilliant Rose last year.

He showed us the Brilliant Rose wedding bands, which we had not been thinking of getting them yet.

But we decided maybe some early shopping wouldn't hurt abit.

Shopping for wedding bands is not an easy task. For us, at least.

I was thinking that Gerrie could get a half-eternity ring, so that she could pair it up with the solitaire.

Goldheart has a decent one, going for less than $600.

Then we walked into T&Co. And we instantly knew why they could charge a premium price.

Their rings are set in platinum, which would cost twice of a white gold.

Isn't this ring nice?

Their classic rings for men look really simple, but the weight is heavier than those found in the other jewellery stores.

This would cost approx. $2500.

Abit too costly eh.

The T&Co ring is really beautiful! But in terms of practicality, normal daily wear is not recommended as dirt and grime will accumulated and get stuck in the gaps in between the stones. And very soon the beautiful ring will lose it charm and brillance.
Worse if one day while doing housework, and Gerrie suddenly realises one of the stones have droppped out! (this is very common for people who wear diamond rings on daily basis, even when doing housework)

Unless Gerrie periodically sends it for cleaning, otherwise, I will recommend tat u get a more practical wedding band if it's for daily wear. Ever tot of getting a ring from Bvlgari? The 3-band ring is nice and very classic but becos of the spring mechanism, it's not really recommend for daily wear. A single band will be really nice and last an eternity! :)
